🛂 1. Passport
- Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended return date.
- Ensure it has enough blank pages for visa stamps.
🧾 2. Visa
- Required for most destinations. Check the specific visa requirements of the country you're visiting.
- Many countries offer e-Visas or visa on arrival, but applying in advance is often safer.
- For Sri Lankan citizens, some countries offer visa-free or visa-on-arrival access—check with the destination's embassy or consulate.
📄 3. Travel Insurance
- Strongly recommended, and mandatory for some countries.
- Should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and COVID-19-related expenses.
💉 4. Health Documents
- COVID-19 vaccination certificate (if required by the destination).
- Yellow fever certificate (if traveling from or through a country with yellow fever risk).
- Other recommended vaccines: Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, Tetanus, Japanese Encephalitis (for rural areas).
🎫 5. Travel Itinerary
- Flight tickets (round-trip or onward travel).
- Hotel bookings or accommodation details.
💳 6. Proof of Funds
- Bank statements or credit cards to show you can support yourself during your stay.
🧾 7. Additional Documents (if applicable)
- Invitation letter (for business or family visits).
- Student or work permit (if applicable).
- Transit visa (if passing through another country en route).
